Christmas is over and the new year is fast approaching. I have been thinking a lot about the question of what does 2009 have in store for me? There's the standard cliche new years resolution of getting healthy but that one should be a constant. I am starting a new painting class that starts the first week in January which I am pretty excited about. I have been on the fence about going back to college and getting an art related degree, since my current degree is in Business. It's a little nerve racking because I haven't taken a class for about 5 years. My other big goals for 2009 is working on my portfolio and branching out into the art community.
We have been experiencing pounds of snow and thankfully today and yesterday a lot of it melted. Oregonians are not the best drivers in inclement weather. We drove through some of the back hills in Portland and there were cars in ditches and then the cars were snowed over. So hopefully they will be able to dig out the cars over the next week. This snow covered picture is the top of Roy Rogers Road at like 1:00 in the afternoon
Here is my pumpkin patch painting of Sauvie's Island. Yah! all done.. This fall I went there because I had a few friends whom volunteer at the Pumpkin Patch. Normally Sauvie's Island is known for its nude beach and berry picking. ha ha! But really quite pretty in the Fall.
