A little bad luck

I totally had one of those days were everything goes wrong.
To start my day .. and this is horrible- I punched a whole in one of my paintings.  I was trying to wire the painting and my hand slipped and the screwdriver made a big HOLE in the painting and I needed the painting for a show.  It is fixable but I am sooo clumsy.   My poor defenseless painting.
Then, I spilled a jar of varnish.  Awesome! Well the tricky thing about this varnish is that it takes about 8 hours to make. It's totally worth it but spilling this stuff is not fun.. its smelly.. stinky.  Gamar is the best varnish of all time if you are an oil painter, I recommend it to the tenth power.  It really is super easy to make just email me if you have a question about it.
While running errands, I got a blister from my boots.  Fine I am a big baby. :)  I did treat myself to a large delicious latte to soothe the pain.
I am locking myself in my house for the weekend and I am going to let the bad luck pass.  Bad luck is always followed by good luck right?

Have a good weekend and I will have paintings on Monday to show you :)... hopefully.

Don't they say these things come in threes or something? If so, you're set! We had a streak of bad luck, it wasn't something I suffered from but in the course of an hour and a half, my husband slipped on some ice and almost broke his toe, and my friend Alex's van's muffler fell off along with something sharp while we were driving, nearly causing an accident. So much havoc was wreaked that night so we just locked ourselves inside and called it a night! Have a great weekend and may good luck come your way!

Did you forget to eat your black eyed peas on New Year's Day?

:) Sorry about the bad luck- it does seem to all happen at once, doesn't it?

I hope you can easily clean the varnish and fix the painting.

What a bummer about the painting (and everything else)! The screw driver into the painting is something I dread every time I try to wire a painting. I'm sure tomorrow will be better. :)

As Meagan said, bad luck comes in threes! you're going to be okay. And if after bad luck comes good luck, i'd say buy a lottery ticket.

I love that you have a bad luck label. I hope you don't have to use it often in 2011 though.

Oh no! Just one of those kinds of days ... it's always best to lay low for a while after that.

I hope you've recovered with several more fabulous days to make up for it!!? :)
