The Mustache DIY

We recently went to a Tom Selleck themed party where everyone had to wear a mustache :) There were mustache cupcakes, and t-shirts with Tom Selleck and his big furry mustache.  We also got mustaches on a sticks from my niece for Christmas.  So I thought in the spirit I should make a DIY post on mustaches!  So you can have your very own.
Supplies:

Felt- Whatever amazing, beautiful shade, or pattern you like.
Glue- Whatever kind you have preferably not a glue stick.
Stick- The stick in the picture is from Micheals for 20 cents
Scissors- I have lost every single pair of scissors that I own except for this pair of plastic barber scissors.  I think the scissor fairy comes and steals them all from my studio in the middle of the night.
Safety Pin
Mustache on a Stick.
Step 1- Cut a nice size rectangle piece of felt.
Step 2- Fold it in half
Step 3 - Cut your mustache shape

Step 4 - The Stick I purchased was a little long- so I cut it at the desired length.
Step 5 - Glue the stick to the mustache and place it close to the edge.
Step 6- Let it dry
Step 7- Try it on and give yourself a compliment :).
Mustache Pendant.
Step 1.  Take your cut mustache and glue it to the safety pin.
Step 2.  Try it on and see how amazing you look.
Mustache Inspiration!

What kind of Mustache are you?

Fun party!! I used to have a pair of moustache you could stick to your upper lip with a specal glue. When you had to remove it...what pain.

when i worked retail, i used to draw mustaches on andrew jackson's face on twenty dollar bills with that marker that checks to see if they're counterfeit. my manager did not find it funny. :)

this party is AWESOME!

What a hoot! I've been loving the mustache fad...as you see I have had a mustache since I got out of high school back in the early 70's. I cut it off once...my wife made me grow it back!!! So where those mustaches with pride!!

Haha what an interesting party! I'd go for the mustachio- I like the curls at the ends.

I love your mustache DIY project ... I'll definitely remember this next time I need to handcraft a lovely bit of upper lip fur! ;)

As for what mustache I'd be ... I think I'd go with The Walrus ... :)
