Christmas Music Playlist

One of my favorite things to do during the holidays is to make a Christmas music playlist.  As soon as Thanksgiving is over, I immediately start to have Christmas music on the brain.  One of my earliest Christmas memories was  my mom playing Christmas records in one of those humongous record stereos.  They had this big fat cat named Bimbo and he would hide in the speakers and then howl or should I saw mew to the music. I just love making a list that combines more classic Christmas with new Christmas music.

George Michael "Last Christmas"
Judy Garland "Have yourself a Merry Little Christmas"
David Bowie and Bing Crosby "Little Drummer Boy"
The Beach Boys "Little Saint Nick"
Madonna "Santa Baby"
Rush Coil- 8 bit Christmas "Deck the Halls"
Andy Williams "It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year:
Jason Mraz "Winter Wonderland"
Elvis Presley and Martina McBride "Blue Christmas"
The Carpenters "Merry Christmas"
Michael Buble "All I want for Christmas is you"

What are you listening to this Christmas?

Ohh, I love all of these, so nice!! It's almost my favourite thing at this time, is the music :))) Am listening to all of these actually and the Mariah Carey album, just because it has sentimental value to me, not really much of a fan any more. I hope you have a wonderful Monday & week to come doll xx

This Christmas, as usual, I'm listening to "Snowed In" the Hanson Christmas album! It never fails to put me in the Christmas spirit

I recently posted a Christmas playlist too. I'm surprised how different our lists are. We don't have one track that's similar. I will definitely have to check out these songs.

This playlist is just awesome Erika I mean the only thing that I would probably add to it is the Fairytale of New York, a song that I absolutely adore and always will. Great list though, really helping put me into the Christmas mood.

I love how you have some new and some old! My favorite from the list is definitel Judy Garland's "Have yourself a merry little Christmas!". She had such a beautiful voice! =)

Oooh, fun fun!! I looove Christmas music but I am SO tired of all the stuff they play on the radio and at stores. Jingle Bell Rock, I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Clause, all that... bleh. I was excited when Zooey Deschanel's band She and Him came out with their Christmas album a year or two ago, so some fun new ones there, but also definitely check out the Sufjan Stevens Christmas albums--he has two now and they are beautiful--and the "Christmas" by the band Low. Sooo pretty. Also, do you ever make playlists on Spotify?? You can set up all the tracks you want and play and share for free! Same with 8Track I think. Would love to be able to listen to your playlist on your blog!

I love Christmas music!!! My favorites, though, are ones you don't really here on the radio... probably because they're ones that I haven't gotten tired of yet. :-)

I love the video for Wham-George Michael's Last Christmas, it's so 80s!

My music is pretty much controlled by my children, so we've been listening to Laurie Berkner's new Christmas CD. It's not bad--and it's not The Wiggles, so I'm not complaining!
