The sunshine is supposed to be pouring in this weekend and continue onto next week. I can smell the summer weather. :) This weekend I have to spend some much needed time in my art studio and the hubs I think is trying to convince me to go to the movies. What are you up to this weekend?...
A couple of years ago the hubs and I went to Paris. Paris is truly one of the most magical places I have ever been... between the delicious lattes, fluffy croissants, and spectacular art.. it's a place you can get lost in. We were meeting some of my hubs business associates near the Louvre (home of the Mona Lisa) and we were set to meet on a pedestrian bridge. There were a lot of people picnicing on the bridge and sipping wine.. or drinking champagne.. only in Paris, right? I noticed the bridge was jammed packed full of locks. I asked, "Why are there all these locks here?" I was told that if you are in love you place a lock on the bridge your love will never be broken. :) The hubs and I were not able to find a lock but when one of our good friends recently got married and we heard they were honey mooning in Paris. We knew that we had to get them a lock. Here is the lock we sent with them to Paris. :) Little puggers double checked to make sure it was read...
Have you seen this video? It's a video about a guy from NYC who got money from Nike to make film about the idea to "Make it Count". They did something a little different :). A little inspiration for your day.. It reminds me why it's so important to get out there and take chances and especially see the world. Since I am from a little city myself- this reminds me how big the world really is and how much I still have yet to see. Have you been to to any places in video? ...
