2013 Goals

Start my 365 day project.  My 365 day project is to make art everyday.  Since having a baby it has been a challenge to try to find time everyday to make something or paint something.  I have to paint at night since that is when the baby's sleeps, so often if I have a project I am working on I am up until 2-3 am.  It can be anything that revolves around making something and will take lots of photos to document my journey.

Get fit.  I am just going to say it. I want to lose the rest of the baby weight. ugh.. there I said it.  I have been looking at joining one of those mommy work out groups, so that I can bring Nora while I work out.  I have been looking at checking out a Stroller Striders or Baby Boot Camp but haven't quite made up my mind yet.  It's amazing how many mommy groups there are but I'm ready.

Read 1 book a month.  It's good for my brain I know it.

Do more photo shoots.  I snap a lot of pictures but I want to venture out with my camera and friends more.. and not just using my iphone. I have a couple of shoots lined up 2013 and am pretty excited about it.

Make my bed- everyday.  Sounds like a silly goal but that was my goal for 2012 and I did it everyday and loved it.  I get better sleep and I feel a little bit responsible for picking up after myself .. since I am a grown up after all.

Take time for having adventures.  Tim and I are both pretty busy and we have to make a conscious effort to take time out time for each other and for our family.  (quality time) This year I want to make amazing memories for us as a family and for our darling daughter.

I love your 365 day project so much Erika and wish you the best of luck in it all, great resolutions and even if you follow through with one or two that'll be a massive achievement in everybody's eyes.

Love the 365 project. Such a wonderful goal to have.
Really like the idea of making the bed. I'm terrible at making mine, but it really does help one sleep better!

Making the bed always makes me feel a little bit more organized and ready to start the day. And finding quality time when you have a new little one is definitely hard - something my hubby and I are working on this year too. We can't forget "us" now that there's a new addition to the family.

Happy new year!

Those sound like some great goals. Except the make the bed. I prefer getting into an unmade bed. :p Hope you have a happy New Year!

Love that you have a book goal! Have you thought about joining GoodReads to help you keep on track? It's been super inspiring for me!

Haha I like the making your bed one. I'm a 50/50er on that front. I'm just so lazy in the morning so sometimes ill make it when I get home just because I love getting into a made bed so much more

I am also doing a 365 project, I want to capture all my todo lists with the app paper, it will help me get better at drawing on my iPad and will be fun to see the little things that made up my day thru out the year! can't wait to see the cute things you are going to create this year!

Happy 2013 -- I'm getting back into blogging this year, and am delighted to start reading yours again! Your new years resolutions are definitely good ones -- the making the bed one makes me chuckle a little at my own messy habits. My resolution is to "infuse happiness" into daily life this year (and beyond)!
