Pumpkin Patch!

We went to the pumpkin patch over the weekend and I think what I look forward to the most is how the pumpkin patch starts the kick off to the holidays. It was so gorgeous this weekend and only a few wispy clouds in the sky and it was warm!

Nora loved every moment of the pumpkin patch- but I think her most favorite thing was being able to walk around all by herself because she kicks up her legs and trots around like the ability to walk is the greatest thing ever.  She is also loves doing lots of high fives and low fives.  A person never really being around little toddlers till I had one- its just crazy how excited they get over the little things and it just warms your heart.  She loves to laugh and have her tummy tickled and she tries to say the word tickle but can't quite get all the syllables.  Seriously- major adorbs.

Let me tell you about the petting zoo.  This was the first time Nora really got the animals and was so excited to see all the different animals in their pens. See that goose? Well it was just waiting for a child to stick their finger in there and just nip it off. There was a sign that said children are the responsibility of their parent but that goose looks very vicious. :)

Now off to decorate pumpkins.  What are you to this Monday?

Oh, the pumpkin patch! You're right, it really does kick off the fall season. Nora looks so happy! What could be better than that? The sign on the duck pen made me laugh. Leave it to some parent to be upset when a kid's finger gets nipped despite the sign! Haha xo

Ohhh, this looks so fun, I'd love to visit a pumpkin patch! Glad Nora stayed safe around the geese, they can be so mean and scary!

This might have been the sweetest thing I've ever read! Our best pumpkin patch years were spent in San Diego, and autumn in SD is BLISTERING hot. I still tried to wear sweaters and pretend, but it wasn't the same.

But, oh! The corn maze and the train rides and picking out our pumpkin. Just some of our best memories!

She looks like she simply had a blast - I'm glad mom and dad enjoyed it as well.

At the barn tonight, a big brother bopped his sister in the face with a riding helmet and fighting ensued. I think I will continue to think of children as these adorable creatures that never fuss and fight and are too busy laughing and marveling at the world :)
