A Tiny Bee Project #12- Invigorate

This week's A Tiny Bee's Project was the word invigorate.  Now I know what invigorate means but this word was a little tricky for me this week because I know what it means but I needed a little help with exact definition. Typically when I do these creative assignments I just go to my sketch book and start creating something but this time it was a little different I had to start writing first and actually look up the meaning of the word in the dictionary.  So I decided to write it out in my sketch book and have the words sink in and some Bob Ross happy little trees came out. :) Sorta funny isn't it? In my neck of the woods we do have beautiful trees and landscapes and the smell is of this clean evergreen- it's quite intoxicating and if you have been to a forrest-y place that rains a lot you'll know what I mean.

Today we are dropping off my paintings at a local art show when Nora wakes up from her nap. And you know what that means... it means there could be some early holiday shopping since we have to go into the city. :)  Nora has been getting more and more curious about all the Christmas trees and lights popping up in the stores and it's not even thanksgiving yet.  I think Christmas comes earlier and earlier- pretty soon Christmas decorations will be up in the summer time or why stop there- why not make them year round. Doing anything fun today?

Want to join in for next week? Next weeks assignment is "Rabbit". :) How ever you want to interpret it.

Feel free to check out and link up with 12 Oz Bee House

A Tiny Bee is a creative weekly link up to flex our creative muscles. It's a little creative club that links together every Thursday to share a creative project- and it can be big or small. There is a weekly theme that is up to you to interpret and you can express yourself in any medium like sketching, painting, writing or perhaps photography. Want to see past assignments? or Want to learn more? Want to share in twitter or instagram- use the hashtag #atinybee.

Bob Ross happy trees!! If anything Bob Ross-inspired isn't invigorating to you, then I don't know what is! He had such a way of making people feel like they could express themselves even if they weren't artistic. Love this post! :)

Bob Ross was such a Saturday tv staple growing up (my dad was an artist and sort of side-eyed Bob Ross and his happy little clouds, but there was definitely something super relaxing and hypnotic about watching him!). I like your happy little trees so much. xo

These are lovely! I hope the art show goes well! Also, it totally blows my mind how early Christmas happens. I wouldn't mind, but I love Thanksgiving so much that I always wish it could get its full glory before Christmas rolled around!
