I wanted to do something really simple for my advent calendar and something Nora could appreciate now. Since she is only 17 months I didn't really want to toys or candy as the little prize. So, I got this little paper bags and drew the numbers and a doodle on the bag and then glued a glitter paper triangle.. you know to give them that special Christmas glamour. Then I wrote little notes inside- like a hug or a walk to the park and there could be a special Santa note inside one of them. :)

What a great idea! And you're supposed to make a mess when your Christmas crafting! :)
Amazing idea, I love that it's easy and yet looks incredible all the same!
Oh what a sweet idea and it looks very cute too! I always make a mess when trying to craft, I just tell myself that I need a little bit of chaos to be creative.
I've told myself year after year that I'm doing an advent calendar - sadly not this year but maybe next and I'll steal your idea :)
that is the sweetest advent calendar. notes are a great idea!
I've had the same advent calendar since I was a kid, it's cloth, with a little mouse you move from pocket to pocket, and a picture of Mr & Mrs Claus sitting in front of the fire above all the date pockets. It was only recently I learned that typical advent calendars have a tiny treat inside each day! xo
this is really cute and i love your little tiny door! i did a similar calendar last year where i had a couple bigger ticket items but mostly it was more about doing things together each day, or prompts for saying nice things about each other. i actually bought similar cards for this years too, but obviously i am behind because i haven't put it up yet, oops.
Thais is such a sweet idea. love how simple it is!
I love this! You are so creative and sweet :)
I love how easy and beautiful this is.
Also I think its awesome that you did little notes inside.
That's a cute idea!
