Instagram Challenge for February

Since February is right around the corner, my challenge for this month is to make art everyday the month of February.! yay! Every day, on Instagram I going to do some sort of drawing or sketch.. the pretty and the ugly.  I am looking forward to seeing what happens because I really want to push myself and get out of my comfort art zone and share more of my doodles.

Doing a monthly challenge is a great way to get more miles on my sketchbook and it gives me the chance to maybe even do some experiments, use different techniques, try new mediums and explore different subject matter.  Making art everyday is a great way to hone some new skills and dust off some of those old skills.

I would love for you to follow the journey! and if you want to make art too! I would love to see it. The hashtag for the event is #atinyrocket .

What a sweet bird! I just finished reading The Goldfinch and it reminds me of that bird. I love your idea of this Instagram challenge; it's a win-win for you. More art! Can that ever be a bad thing? xo

This is a great idea. I often go about my projects in spurts- hot on book sculpture for a few weeks, hot on photography the next few. I am going to give this a shot.
Cheers,

I love a good Instagram challenge! I think I'd be too shy to share my art on Instagram but you have got me thinking that February should be my month to start getting creative again! I'll definitely have a gander at what you come up with too! Good luck! :D
