New Prints on Etsy

I have been working on an Instagram challenge of making art every day in February and even though February isn't over yet, I decided to turn a few of my little paintings into art prints. yay! I have to admit this challenge has been tough because I am such a perfectionist and completely analytical about my work. I feel like it's good for me to really push myself and not over work something and maybe even leave some spaces empty with focusing more on artistic expression. The best part of the challenge so far is that I have been painting whatever I want and I can move on and paint something else the next day. I work really hard on my art work, more than anything I have ever done and love it so much.

Oh! and here to get to my etsy shop. If you have any questions about the work on instagram or etsy just shoot me an email at erikaleesears@gmail.com.

I have so loved watching your work unfold on Instagram. Just stunning. And, as always, I admire those of you who can make the push to get your work to the next level. Shows, etsy, etc. I feel so not-brave these days. XO

I love the doe a deer painting! The whale one, also. I know how hard it is to create every day, but it's worth it because sometimes the best progress comes from pushing yourself when you normally wouldn't. Cheers!

creating a new art piece everyday for a month sounds really challenging, but it sounds like a good push to update your shop & do more things!

I've really enjoyed seeing your paintings on Instagram every day and hope you'll keep it up long after the challenge is "officially" over

Your artwork is lovely! I like what you said about the challenge forcing you to move onto something new each day; I tend to obsess and be a perfectionist in my photography and it sounds very freely to be able to let go of that! I'm sure it has been inspiring. :)
