Toddler Crafts: Potato Stamps
Nora is a very busy toddler and is into anything and everything. She loves to be involved, and lately is quite the bossy little lady. When she wants to tell me something she takes my hand or pushes me to where she wants me and does a dramatic point and then tells me what she wants. What can I say she is a girl that knows exactly what she wants.
She is getting a lot of words every day and it actually surprises me how many words keep coming into her little vocabulary. I love how proud of herself she gets when she learns a new word and points it out to me and says it so firmly and loudly. It's amazing that all of sudden she has this big loud personality that says here I am and you are paying attention to me. So I have been on a mission to come up with some toddler activities to help stimulate those little brain muscles and hopefully keep her busy.

Oh how fun! Great diy!
You know that scene in Despicable Me at the fair? "It's so fluffy I'm gonna die!" I feel like Nora is so cute I'm gonna die. Look at her in her little art smock! So precious, and so awesome you're sharing such fun art projects with her! xo
What a fun idea!
oh, what a blast! we got some finger paints for christmas but i just haven't felt quite ready to bust them out yet for the little lady... since she has already had a little too much fun with sharpie and crayon and colored chalk, ha! :)
Ooooh that looks so fun! I don't have kids, but I may or may not want to try this myself :)
What a great way for her to get creative and stay busy! Adorable!
This is such an ingenious idea, I have to try this out with my little cousin next time. He's 7, but I still think he might attempt at putting the paint in his mouth. Mischievousness to the max!
how fun!!! when they get older, their creations get even better!
Ha, so sweet! I love that you are putting so much effort into making projects that she will enjoy - this is going to help her evolve into such a cool person! (not that she's not naturally cool, lol). I was thinking maybe milk painting (if you can keep her from drinking it) - you drop food dye into milk and then add a drop of dish detergent - it's magic.
p.s. I owe you an email, am sooo sorry to have taken this long, am emailing now :)

Such fun and sweetness. I used to love making playdoh for my kids.
What fun! I remember doing this in kindergarten way back when dinosaurs still roamed the earth :)
