Knew New

Isn't baby Everett, the cutest? He is nearly 8 weeks old and is the sweetest little boy.  He loves to be held and one of his favorite cuddle spots, is right up by your neck.  He could probably hang out there all day. He has just started making those sweet cooing baby sounds and has one of the widest smiles.

Even though I have done this once before, it's still a lot of learning. I have forgotten what it is like to not getting any sleep, like at all. Little babies love their cat naps, but I miss night sleeps or at least getting 5 hours in a row sleeps.

Juggling two kids is pretty tough, especially when they are both itty bitty. I want to make sure I'm establishing my connection with Everett, but giving Nora the amount of attention she needs. Tim has helped out a lot, but I think having a second baby has made me realize how great of a daddy he is and wants to be.

I feel lucky.

Oh man he is cuuuute! Babies do love their catnaps and I have never been able to nap so I don't miss that stage at all haha. I can't imagine juggling two kids at once! Super mom!

Oh my he is to to cute!! I love new babies. I can tell you honestly that two was far and away my toughest transition. After that it was simply adding them in:) I hope it smoothed out and he starts sleeping a little more for you!

Oh, what a beautiful post and what a stunning son you have. I sometimes thing Neel and I still have PTSD from the no-sleep days of Cal's early infancy! Who am I kidding?! That kid didn't sleep until he was over 10! Happy, happy for you all in these sweet early days. XO

Cuuuute. I wish monkey-based attire was more appropriate for adults as well. Life would be better ;)
