Happy Weekend Friends! I do love a polka dot and have been thinking a lot about patterns and more abstract brush strokes.  I love the idea of starting to add different patterns and making it "believable." Read more about this project here . ...
I have been so far behind in posting here and I could list about a million and one reasons, but I miss posting on a regular basis.  For the next couple of days, I am going to be posting the last few weeks of my Making Art Everyday in 2015 challenge.  It has been quite a journey so far and I feel like I have learned so much. Some days it's hard to even get 15 minutes to open my sketch book or have Baby Everett sitting in my lap while I figure out what I am making.  Other days, when the clouds part and both kiddos are napping at the same time (ok bragging), and I can get undisturbed 2 hours of quiet time during the day. I have to say this has been one of the most rewarding projects, that I have ever done.  I think it's because I am making something every single day. It is pretty challenging to make art that I am proud of and finding the time between two kiddos. I have been particularly inspired lately because I am actually getting sleep at night. Baby Everett is sleeping through the night! I don't want to jinx anything, but it's amazing how much better my brain works when I am at least getting 7 hours of sleep (in a row). Ok, I'm bragging now. PS- To read more about this project- click here . ...

I am making art every single day and I am making whatever I want. I'm not exactly sure how I am going to fit in doing some other projects that are starting to trickle in but I guess I'll have to figure it out. To read more about the project click here . ...
