It's that time of year again. I am getting ready for the holidays. I am painting for my favorite show of the year, the Big 500! It's 500 artists making art and it's all a fixed price of $40 a painting. The show is a cash and carry show, which means you remove it from the wall and buy it! that's it! It's a show that is near and dear to my heart because I have been apart of it from the very beginning. Want to see more artwork from the previous years?  Big 500  // Big 400  //  Big 300  //  Big 200  //  Big 100 oil on wood The art (the best part) is part of my making art everyday project and this is day 273.  To read more about this awesome project click  here...

So busy. so incredibly busy. but this quote caught me today. "I will love you until the chances of us running into one another slip from slim to zero, and until your face is fogged by distant memory, and your memory faced by distant fog, and your fog memorized by a distant face, and your distance distanced by the memorized memory of a foggy fog. I will love you no matter where you go and who you see, no matter where you avoid and who you don’t see, and no matter who sees you avoiding where you go. I will love you no matter what happens to you, and no matter how I discover what happens to you, and no matter what happens to me as I discover this, and now matter how I am discovered after what happens to me as I am discovering this."  —  Lemony Snicket...

seedandstar // jeanmonsanto // daniofthedawsonkind // willowmarkworks // lisaeks // christinearia // madelinetrait // daniofthedawsonkind // soymariaca I think this has been my favorite month to date, for this challenge. There is something so magical about the translucence quality to water and the magic that it has especially in art work. September's theme is handwriting or hand lettering. I am a little nervous about this one because I am not much of a hand letterer but I have been practicing! But I have a few friends that are hand writing experts and I more excited to see what everyone else makes. There is only a few months left for this challenge and it's never too later to participate.  To learn more click on the link below. Can't wait to see what you make. My talented cohosts for this project are :  August Wren ,  Courtney Cerruti  and  Meighan O'Toole Want to read, learn and participate in #12monthsofpaint more info is  here....
