from the subway

Just finished this painting of mothers and daughters in the subway.  Oil on canvas :)
I just love how people read on the subway and just how fascinated I am with people in this space.

i love it too and people watching on the subway, except when school gets out and bunch of rowdy high schoolers get on the train and stand by the door! then, not so much :).

Looks fantastic Erika! I love the way you capture their expressions and the little details ... it is a place for endless inspiration.

This is my favorite subway painting that you've done thus-far. It seems very personal. Great lighting, too.
