Day 1- A Painting A Day in August.

My first painting for the month of August I think I was a little too ambitious because I tried to do an urbanscape but I finished! It's a miracle! I am actually a little proud of myself for doing this month long challenge of a painting a day because I think it will take me into a new direction.    What do I have to lose?  Just sleep I think.
I really wanted to paint something form NYC because I miss it soo. I miss the little yellow cabs. the sounds. big city. bright lights. the people in suits.:) Have you ever been to NYC? It's one of my favorite cities in the world- old with the new- and so tall.  This one I am going to put in my etsy shop once I can take a better photo (when the sun comes up).  What are you working on this August?

Oh, this is very New York feeling, I really like it! I thought of doing a painting a day in August too, but I'm not that dedicated. I think I'll be easy on myself and try it for a week sometime. Good luck! I can't wait to see the others you do :)

Great first choice for a painting, go big(apple) or go home, right?
