My Back to School Wishlist

1/2/3/4/5/6/7
I love back to school shopping! I know I have been out of school for several years but when August rolls around I simply can not wait for back to school shopping.  I am looking forward to all the stores getting new jackets, sweaters, pants.. and best of all school supplies.  I find myself strolling down the Target aisle looking for that perfect little notebook or maybe a new pen because who can't use more pens or pencils? I still remember getting my very first backpack and it was right before the first grade.  I was so excited to pick out that very special backpack and I just kept thinking how special I was to be able to go to school with that bright red backpack.  Back to school shopping still has not lost it's magic and now I can't wait for fall. :)

What are you up to this Monday?

Back to school shopping was always so much fun!! I miss it sometimes. Here in the UK, my daughter wears a uniform every day, so it's not quite as fun as it was when I was growing up in the states. And i'm sure she'd love to give up her uniform for her own clothes, haha. Wonderful selections :)) Have a great week x

I was just telling my friend how much I miss going back to school every September! I've been out of school for almost 5 years and I still miss it, haha. The new sweaters! Sneakers! Notebooks! Covering all my textbooks in brown paper bags. Sigh. Guess I'm just going to have to wait until I have kids to enjoy that again. xo

i agree! my son however doesn't see the excitement in it as much as i do. but i can't wait to go out and get him some new things for school. i love your picks, that sweater (sweatshirt?) is super cute.

We work in a shop that sells school sports kits and generally most children hate the concept of school shopping, I'm not sure why though because personally I believe that while it might seem annoying now they'll not realise how much they miss it when they're older and don't go to school any more, I love all of these items in this post Erika, great post.

That notebook is AWESOME. I just bought some new boots for the coming fall. I at least work parallel to academia so I get to celebrate my boss going back to work teaching at least.

I still enjoy back to school shopping even though I'm out of school, too. Who doesn't love pens and pencils? I'm in love with those socks, too. Argyle is the best.

Back to school shopping wasn't as big in Germany, at least not when I was in school but I remember that I always planned my outfit carefully for the first day back in school. But to this day I can never resist new notebooks or cute pens and that pencil pouch is right up my alley too.

I have been looking out for a cute backpack and a pair of moccasins for the longest time!!

And yes, definitely looking forward to shopping for fall sweaters too!

Having just dropped a load of cash on my son's text books and a stupid expensive calculator, maybe I don't love school shopping SO much.

I kid! That just wasn't any of the fun stuff. I'm totally jealous of the new notebook paper and new clothes, and I think I want that sweater.
