As you may know, I have been working very hard the last two years to bring you my project, Making Art Everyday! I originally started this project because I had just given birth to my second child, and I wanted to make sure that I was able to be creative every single day while trying to be the best mom possible and the best me possible. This was a lot and especially being a mother a second time. Being a mom is one of the toughest jobs ever, and I wanted to keep a little piece of myself that had nothing to do with being a mother or a wife but it was just me, Erika. It was intended to be something special just for me and something that I would accomplish all on my own. My son, Everett, is about to turn two years old. Just around this time two years ago I was thinking about starting this art project, Make Art Everyday.
