Fe Fi Fo Fum..

The weather has been so quirky here- summer we didn't get much sun which caused all of the gardens to not fully develop.  I personally kill plants but my parents have green thumbs :)  I love visiting their garden.  This is the only flower that somewhat blossomed in their garden and it's already mid October.

One of my new years resolutions for next year is try a little garden myself.  I am working on finding a support group.  :)  Hopefully I will have some art to show you tomorrow.  :)  If anyone has any pointers on how to be a good green thumb, I would love to hear some tips.

Christian manages a greenhouse so if you need help, let me know. I think you'll do great.

Thanks :) My biggest issue is that I am not the best about watering and my friend was telling me I should plant right at the end of winter so that my plants roots can really get into the ground.

I tried pruning a tree in my back yard myself and now it has big holes in it.

I wish I was a great gardener but sadly I am not. I love gardens and the idea of having an awesome one but I get too lazy to weed it. Good luck with your garden for next year!

Gosh, I'm pretty shocking with keeping plants both alive and growing too ... so probably can't offer too much advice.

I'm hoping to start a little garden soon too ... some flowers at the front of the house, and some herbs and veges at the back ... that's the plan anyway!

Best of luck with your growing (and your art!).

next time i am down you should come with me to visit my friend kim's garden. she is amazing and plants all sorts of plants and has about the same size backyard that you do. and since you are both in portland she could probably be your gardening buddy.
