Day 42- Gravity is my enemy.

It's official I just want to announce my studio looks like a truck ran it over and backed in and did a couple of wheelies.  That might be the sound of productivity.
Here is  my piece that I working on for a portrait show called Face2Face.  Yes portraits! I have never been in a portrait show before because I only do portraits in my sketchbook.  So I am a little nervous.  How the show works all the artists bring a cd of our own image to the artist party and then we put them in a bag and pick out a cd and that's who we paint.
Who we receive is supposed to be a secret but we all know I have never been good with secrets.  You are talking to someone who would find her Christmas gifts early and rewrap them.   I put down a layer of 1960's pages of an old vintage dictionary and oil painted over the top.  She is sitting on the subway.
Thank you so much for all the wonderful support for my kickstarter project.  I am so incredibly thank full for everything.

Portraits are super challenging I think. You did an awesome job with this! A messy studio is a sign of productivity!

Your portrait is amazing! Wow!!

Okay...now I'm both befuddled and inspired to keep working on my figure study. It's fighting back right now...which I guess is a good sign!!

That's such a great idea - portraits would be wonderfully challenging I would imagine.
