The trouble of Hong Kong

I still can not believe that I leave for Hong Kong in 3 weeks! I am so excited to paint and draw in a distant land that I have ALMOST taken out my suitcase and started packing.  When do you think its too early to take out the suitcase?  Sadly I have discovered that they have something called Lady Street for all things fake and a Soho district of all things vintage! I do love a good hunt for hidden treasures but I think I might be going to the mecca?  The Soho district also has the worlds largest escalator, which means my feet wont get tired.  :)
So I wanted to show you some amazing etsy finds from sellers from Hong Kong.

I am planning on lugging a few different cameras over to Hong Kong and don't you just want this camera?  This etsy seller makes the strapes for the vintage cameras- which I totally need!
I seem to never get enough hand bags.
I am such a sucker for vintage jewelery.
Bamboo case for my iphone- not only would I be earth conscious.. I think they are pretty durable.  Don't tell my husband but I have dropped my i-phone way too many times!  I didn't realize how much trouble I am going to get myself into in Hong Kong and they also have night markets. TROUBLE!

Sounds like Hong Kong is shaping up to be the perfect destination! Can't believe your trip is a mere three weeks away! I can't wait to live vicariously through your travels - Lady Street and the Soho district both sound like places I would die to visit! Thanks for sharing all these great Etsy shops too! I'm in the market for some wedding jewelry and have been searching for something vintage - I think the last two might just be what I've been looking for!

I remember liking Fa Yuen street market (near lady's market) more, but I'm sure you'll have fun shopping anywhere. Can't wait to hear about your adventures!

Ooh, these are good Etsy finds! You're going to have such an awesome time over there. I had coworkers who went to Hong Kong for a few weeks to train the new office, but they ended up staying for a year and loved it.

Oh my gosh! I am so excited for you! I went to HK three years ago and had the time of my life. The shopping is fun and the food is great! Make sure you try this mango dessert place. I don't remember the name of it, but you'll know it when you see it (as there are several locations and the locals love them)!

I love the iPhone case! I'm definitely going to check that out :)

And I say in lieu of starting to pack, simply start your list of everything you don't want to forget to pack!

This saves me every time because it's so easy to forget the extra memory cards or phone chargers.

That soho district sounds incredible! I can't wait to see all your amazing finds :)

This museum covers most of Hong Kong's history:
