Summer Reading

I just love picking up books from the library. When I was a little I would get so excited to go to the library.  The library was always a special place for me because I was able to pick out as many books as I wanted and I got my very own card!  I remember tucking my library card in my little purse- and it made me feel extremely grown-up.   I really found my love for books and reading at the library and I can't wait till I  can take my daughter to the library and make her first library memory.

This book, Imagine- How Creativity Works really caught my attention because it's a book on the study of creativity.  It goes in depth about how one comes up with those big ideas or how one gets that creative spark.  Such a good read- and always so interesting to see the analyzation of creativity!

What are you reading this summer? :)

This book sounds incredible Erika, I'd love to get hold of it and read it myself, reading is such a good thing to spend your time on, I wish I had more time to read things that weren't blogs haha.

Interesting book. I read a lot about creativity, how to make it come out. It has helped me to focus more, and take the days when I'm not so creative like it's not the end of the world, but just a sign that I need a break.
I used to go to the bookstore a lot as a child (still do) but having a mom who's an editor I never went to the library if not to study. I was lucky because I could own everybook I wanted!

Ok so I have to read that one now! I just read the War of Art by Steven Pressfield and found it interesting.

This book sounds great.

I got a library card for my little guy in the beginning of this (past) summer and is always a special day now, when we go to the library. He likes books and he likes going to the library. Mom does, too. :)
