Portland's Ace Hotel

I love the Ace Hotel Portland! Before it was the Ace, it was a pretty run down and inexpensive hotel. Kids would rent the top rooms and fill water balloons and throw them at the people walking below. If memory serves the balloons were not just filled with water. (horrible I know) I don't think you can open the windows anymore. I'm sure for safety and prevent any shinnanegans. The Ace really restored the hotel to it's former glory and it's quite a site.
