Sketchbook Project 2013

I am so excited that I finished my sketchbook for the amazing Sketchbook Project for 2013.  The project is that anyone can participate and you can still sign up.  The fun thing about this project is that all the sketchbooks go on tour around the country and then have a permanent home at the Brooklyn Museum Library.  I love knowing that my art some how can make it all the way to New York City.  My paintings are usually very planned and a lot of detail but for this project I didn't really want a theme and wanted to draw patterns and some of the pages are more minimalist and others are lists!. Here are some peaks into my book.

I'd love to see this Erika, it's actually awesome looking, you're such a talent when it comes to illustrations, the first two pages are incredible, it's hard to put into words how great I find your art.

I want to do it too. What an awesome project! I just sent out an email, to my "fans" about how I procrastinate, maybe this would be a stimulus for me to get rid of....that!
